Twirp - Florida - track season

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I have posted something on my block, because I was busy enjoying my exchange which is getting close to be over, which I am very sad about. But now I want to let you know what happened over the last couple of weeks.
First of all there was Twirp. Twirp is the second of the the three main dances at Marquette Senior High School. At first there was the Christmas Dance, then comes Twirp, and the last one is Prom. Twirp means: The Women Is Required to Pay. Usually the guy asks a girl for a dance and pays for the tickets and dinner, but at Twirp it is the other way around. The girl has to ask the guy and pays for all the stuff. Which is kind of fair I think, because usually the guy pays and girls always want to be threaten equal, so they should pay as well. But anyways, Twirp really was a lot of fun! Below is a pictures of me and my pretty date Morgan.

Next up was Florida! It was amazing! The first couple of days we spent on the Atlantic coast. The water was beautiful with nice waves! We stayed in a town called Vero Beach, where my hostdads uncle lives. He owns a nice ship and he took us on a ride with it on the intercostal side. It was really nice and we also had several Dolphins swimming next to our boat.
After a few days we went to Orlando and spent a few days at Disneyworld. There we went to the Magic Kingdom, where you can see the Disney castle. We went on a couple of rides, which was really fun, and we spent a day at a waterpark. It was very warm at DisneyWorld, and I miss the good weather a lot. The snow up here might be gone, but it still is pretty cold.

Track season is going on and I have been to a couple of meets. Because of my bad ankle I switched from running to throwing, but my shoulder isn't really working. Have to see how that will go. Although my body is kind of messed up, I am practicing trying to improve. The meets are reall fun and being part of such a good team is a big plessure.

I will keep you informed about how the rest of my high school year will be!

See you soon!
