Day 3 - Monterey, Carmel Beach, A night in San Leandro

Hi everybody!

Today was a great day!
We drove around the California coast and had lots of fun on the bus. We stopped in Monterey and Carmel. We saw beautiful beaches, played volleyball and had some very good with a very good view out to the harbor and sea lions! 

We got to do some shopping too at a mall, we visited. I got some new Nike Air Force 1's. 

We had dinner at the mall, and had a good time spending some money and walking around together.
When we arrived to the hotel, many of us were very tired but there's a pool and also a late curfew, which means: More fun! (we can sleep when we get older!)
After the pool, we stayed in the lobby having fun with the strangest security man ever. Fun times!
Then time for bed and ready for a new great day!

Day 2 - Venice, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Malibu

Hi guys!

Day #2 of the West Coast Tour was just amazing! We visited many beaches and great places! At first we went to Venice in the morning! 

It was already pretty warm, and we went off to our next destination, Santa Monica Pier. 

We spent some time at the beach there before we went on the peir. There are some attractions, but they are very small and very expensive! So we left and went into town, got something to eat and left for Malibu. 

At Malibu are many expenses houses, the pier is very long and the beach is very nice! I went into the Pacific Ocean for the first time there. The water was pretty cold at the beginning but it warmed up pretty soon. 

From there we went to Santa Barbara, which was quite a drive. There we went to the beach as well and played beach volleyball, which was a lot of fun!

Santa Barbara is a very nice town, but we are only staying here for one night. Tomorrow we will be on our way to San Francisco. Wohooo!

Day 1 - Universal Studios

Hi everyone!

We spent the first day of our west coast tour at the Universal Studios in Los Angeles. It was a very nice and hot day and we went on many rides. We also made a tour through many of the stages where movies were made or are made right now. It was amazing to see how all the movies and series are made. 

It was great day and much fun! Can't wait for the rest of the tour!

Flight and arrival in Los Angeles

Hi everyone!

I had to get up at 4 am today because it was the big day! We went to the airport Rhinelander to fly to Minneapolis. We were suppose to be five people but one of us came 2 minutes late. He arrived at the airport to check in while we were already boarding. We asked if they could wait just 2 minutes but they said they couldn't delay the flight. So we left the gate without one of us. When we stoped at th runway, the flight captain told us that we would have to wait 20 minutes before we would have been able to start because of air traffic. So we waited for 20 minutes at the runway before takeoff and weren't able to delay the flight for 2 minutes at the gate. Made me a little bit mad but whatever! The rest of the flight to Minneapolis and from there to Los Angeles went fine. We only had to run like crazy in Minneapolis because of our 20 minutes delay and and barely caught the plane to LA. What a struggle! 

Now we are in LA and it's okay here. The weather isn't to warm or to cold, it is cloudy and there are a lot of people on the streets. See how it goes tomorrow! Until then, goodbye from Los Angeles!

West Coast Tour 2015

Hi everybody!

The 2015 West Coast Tour is coming up! I will fly to Los Angeles on the 13th of June and be back on June 28th.  The Trip Program includes Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Yesomite, Las Vegas and San Francisco! I am so excited!

Prom - Tri-Con 2015

Hi everybody!

The last High School dance has been! Prom was a lot of fun, but it was also very expensive!

There also was another Rotary Conference, the Tri-Con 2015. There are three districs coming together, so there were a lot of exchange students, inbounds, outbounds and rebounds, as well as a lot of rotarians.
