Why did I chose the United States?
Why did I chose Rotary as my organization?
First: Why do I want to be an exchange student?
To be an exchange student is so amazing! Everyone who had done this can tell this to you! On exchange you
learn different languages, different cultures, you leran about another country you find new friends, you become more indepentend because sometimes you are in your own! You earn so much experience for life! Well, but I guess the most important thing is to have fun at all. And all these things listed above mean fun which mean I will have a lot of it!
Second: Why did I chose the United States?
I chose the United States because I wanted to experinence a country that is different but not to different from my own country. The US has a very big influent on international issues and topics all arround the globe. And it was time for me to get out of Europe! :)
Third: Why did I chose Rotary as my organization?
Rotary International is an exchange organization that focuses on the cultural aspect of the countries. And that is what exchange or traveling is about in general: Exchange of culture. Everybody who wants to go on exchange will notice that. But Rotary points it a lot more out than others. The only disadvantages are the rules that come with Rotary. However, if i had to decide again wheter I want to be a bit more restricted by rules or wheter I take a bit less of the cultural exchange, I would chose Rotary again every time!
And it doesn't matter to which country you go, it is always going to be the best year of your life!
